Quivr

SMS Messaging Policy

How Quivr uses text messages for volunteer event scheduling.

What Quivr is

Quivr is a tool that event organizers use to schedule volunteers for events and to send each volunteer the details of their assignment.

What messages we send

When you are scheduled for an event, your organizer may send you a one-time text containing a secure link to view your assignment — your section, position, and shift times. These are transactional notifications tied to an event you have agreed to serve at. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.

How you consent (opt-in)

You provide your mobile number directly to your event organizer when you agree to volunteer for an event. By giving your organizer your number, you consent to receive assignment-related text messages from Quivr for that event. Numbers are added to Quivr only by an organizer — there is no public sign-up.

Message frequency

Infrequent. You will typically receive messages only around an event you are scheduled for.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Opt-out and help

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message; you will receive no further texts. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact your event organizer directly.

Privacy

Your phone number is used only to coordinate the events you volunteer for. We do not sell, rent, or share your number with third parties for marketing, and mobile opt-in data is never shared with anyone for promotional purposes.
